Science Laboratories – Physics/Chemistry/Biology
A science laboratory is a workplace for conducting scientific research. It helps students better retain concepts and transfer experiences into real-life situations. It provides controlled conditions for conducting scientific research, experiments, and measurements. The primary goal of a science laboratory is to foster curiosity and promote investigation. This objective revolves around encouraging students or researchers to explore various inquiries.
Kendriya Vidyalaya has designed an intricately planned biology laboratory to meet the demands of progress in science and technology. Our school boasts a highly equipped and well-stocked biology laboratory. The laboratory provides students with all kinds of facilities, including basic equipment for observing microscopic organisms such as tubes, beakers, Petri dishes, flasks, and simple microscopes of varying powers. The ratio of microscopes to students is quite high. The laboratory houses various types of apparatus and sufficient essential assets for demonstration, including charts, models, permanent slides of plants and animals, human skeletons, and specimens of both.
There is adequate provision of water in the lab and proper seating arrangements for students. Good supplies of chemicals are provided for conducting experiments, enabling students to acquire direct knowledge and appreciate various concepts of biology through experimentation. “Learning by doing” is the motto of our school.
Facilities in Labs:
Equipment and Materials: Modern technological facilities like 3D printers, robotics kits, microcontrollers, sensors, computers, and internet connectivity.
Training and Workshops: Various workshops and training programs are organized to train students.
Projects and Experiments: Opportunities for students to turn their ideas into reality through projects and experiments.
